It’s so easy to get caught up in thought. It happens in the blink of an eye, too fast to intervene. One minute we’re rolling along, all pip and dandy, the next, the wheels have fallen off the bus.
Life can feel hard at times. Problems to overcome or goals to achieve. Our upbringing, our education, our culture, even our common sense, all suggest that we need to work hard, that excellence is built on effort.
As part of a recent conversation with a client, they said something like, “yeah, but I have real clients with real problems, and your airy-fairy love approach isn’t going to work for them”.
It is so easy to assume that home is located in space – tied to this landscape, this house, with these people and animals. Somewhere we can leave, and return to.
