Exploring The Mystery: Ego, Essence & Experience

October 11th to 14th, 2019 – Waltham, Kent

Along with my colleagues Vicky Kelly and Ali Scott, I’m pleased to announce that bookings are open for our next retreat.

This time in the the Kent Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, it’s a chance to leave everything behind for a few days. Come and immerse yourself in the conversation. We’ll be sticking with an exploration of our true nature, clearing up misunderstandings, and looking at the implications for life.

The last retreat provided a fantastic opportunity to hear more on non-duality from three very different teachers, and to explore this understanding in a supportive group setting. This one promises the same.  There will be lots of opportunities to ask the questions that you’ve always wanted to, make new friends and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Your Hosts

Ali Scott shares this understanding through her coaching, speaking and writing, often working with parents. She tenaciously points to true nature with a fierce love.

Vicky Kelly is often found working with the Business Community. She blends a clear understanding and love for truth with gentleness and good humour.

Published poet Sara Priestly teaches coaches and anyone looking to explore this understanding further. She has an incredible way with words, and always resolutely points back to who we are.

The accommodation is in one main house and two cosy barns. We’re offering most rooms for sole occupancy, but couples are welcome to book one of the double rooms, and there are two twin rooms available to share with other guests (either book with a friend, or allow us to allocate a room mate). Most bathrooms are shared.

The meetings will be in the main house, with big sofas – we want you to be comfortable. The retreat is self-catering, so you will need to bring all your food with you. Each building has its own kitchen, and all guests will be welcome in the main house during the day and evening.

The rural location does mean that you shouldn’t expect regular public transport. If you aren’t driving, please expect to use taxis from Canterbury or Ashford. The venue is about 70 miles from central London, and an around 90 minutes to drive from both Gatwick and Stansted airports.

There will be talks morning and afternoon, with a long lunch break for relaxing, walking, chatting with new friends and enjoying the countryside. There is also the opportunity to relax with us during the evenings, or spend some peaceful time alone.

We are likely to do one shared evening meal together (probably on the Friday).

  • Friday 11th – gather at 1pm for the first meeting.
  • Saturday 12th – meetings 9am – 12pm and 3pm – 6pm.
  • Sunday 13th – meetings 9am – 12pm and 3pm – 6pm.
  • Monday 14th – Clear out of bedrooms, then 9:30 – 12:30pm final meeting (leave at 1pm).
